DOWEL INFRA ("we", "us", or "our") operates the Dowel Infra mobile application and related online services used to manage construction approval workflows, customer records, and documents. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect information when authorized staff use our applications and systems.

The Dowel Infra mobile app is intended for internal use by DOWEL INFRA employees and authorized staff only. A valid staff account is required. This policy applies to information processed through that app and connected services.

Depending on your role and how you use the app, we may collect:

• Staff account information: work email address, display name, role, permissions, and sign-in activity needed to authenticate you and enforce access controls.
• Customer and project information: names, contact details, property or project references, pipeline status, assignments, notes, and related workflow data entered or managed by staff.
• Documents: files uploaded, stored, or shared through the platform, including PDFs and images related to approval workflows.
• Device and notification data: push notification tokens and basic device information used to deliver alerts you enable in the app.
• Usage and audit records: logs of significant actions within the system (such as sign-ins, status changes, and document activity) for security, accountability, and troubleshooting.

We use the information above to:

• Provide and operate the staff application and connected backend services;
• Authenticate users and enforce role-based permissions;
• Manage customer workflows, approvals, tasks, leads, and documents;
• Send push notifications and in-app alerts configured for your account;
• Maintain security, prevent misuse, and investigate technical issues;
• Comply with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell your information.

We process information as needed to perform our contract with staff and customers we serve, to pursue legitimate business interests in operating a secure workflow platform, and to meet legal obligations. Where consent is required (for example, enabling push notifications on your device), we rely on the permissions you grant.

Information is stored on servers operated or controlled by DOWEL INFRA and accessed through our secure API infrastructure. We use technical and organizational measures, including access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), and audit logging, to protect data against unauthorized access, loss, or misuse.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention periods may vary by record type.

We do not share information with third parties for their own marketing. We may share information with trusted service providers that help us run the platform, such as cloud hosting and push notification delivery (including Google Firebase Cloud Messaging on Android), only as needed to provide those services and subject to appropriate safeguards.

We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect rights, safety, and security.

Staff access is managed by your DOWEL INFRA administrator. If you have questions about your account, permissions, or data held in the system, contact us using the details below. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, or request deletion of certain information.

You can disable push notifications in your device settings or within the app where available.

Our staff application is not directed at children and is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The effective date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the app after an update means you accept the revised policy.
